Manado (pronounced [məˈnadu][citation needed]) is the capital city of the North Sulawesi province of Indonesia. Manado is located at the Bay of Manado,[2] and is surrounded by a mountainous area. The city had 408,354 inhabitants at the 2010 Census, making it the second-largest city in Sulawesi after Makassar.

The latest official estimate (for January 2014) is 430,790. Manado is home to some of the biggest and most influential churches in the province, with many of them located along the iconic Sam Ratulangi Street.

Ban Hin Kiong Temple is another popular tourism spot in the city, especially during the Chinese new year celebration. Other places of interest include nearby Lake Tondano, Lake Linow, Lokon Volcano, Klabat Volcano and Mahawu Volcano, Bukit Kasih ( Hill of Love ) and Watu Pinabetengan Citraland, a wealthy suburb of Manado, is home to Asia's 2nd tallest and the world's 4th tallest statue of Christ (Christ Blessing Statue), and perhaps the world's first statue in the flying posture.

Scuba diving and snorkeling are practiced in the nearby Bunaken National Park, including the island of Bunaken. Local food tinutuan, or bubur manado, is sold in Wakeke Street, declared by the local government to be an area of culinary tourism. Bunaken National Park:
The Bunaken National Park is a marine park in the north of Sulawesi island, Indonesia. The park is located near the centre of the Coral Triangle, providing habitat to 390 species of coral[2] as well as many fish, mollusc, reptile and marine mammal species. The Park is representative of Indonesian tropical water ecosystems, consisting of seagrass plain, coral reef, and coastal ecosystems.

It was established as a national park in 1991 and is among the first of Indonesia's growing system of marine parks. It covers a total area of 890.65 km², 97% of which is marine habitat. The remaining 3% of the park is terrestrial, including the five islands of Bunaken, Manado Tua, Mantehage, Nain and Siladen. The southern part of the Park covers part of the Tanjung Kelapa coast.

Flora and Fauna:
A very rich coral ecosystem covers most of Bunaken National Park, dominated by fringing reef and barrier reef corals.[3] There are about 390 species of coral recorded in the waters of the Park.[2] A distinct feature is a 25-50 metre vertical coral wall which is inhabited by 13 coral genus. The seaweeds that can be found here include Caulerpa, Halimeda, and Padina species, while the dominant seagrasses, in particular in the islands of Montehage and Nain, are Thalassia hemprichii, Enhallus acoroides, and Thalassodendron ciliatum. The park is also abundant in different species of fish, marine mammals and reptiles, birds, molluscs and mangrove species.

About 90 species of fish live in the waters of the park, among them being the Emperor Angelfish, Almaco Jack, Spotted Seahorse, Bluestripe Snapper, Pinkish Basslet and Two-lined monocle bream. The species of mollusc include the Giant Clam, Horned Helmet Shells, Chambered Nautilus, and ascidians.

It is claimed that this park has seven times more genera of coral than Hawaii, and more than 70% of all the known fish species of the Indo-Western Pacific.

On land, the islands are rich in species of palm, sago, woka, silar and coconut. Among the animal species that live on the land and the beaches are Celebes crested macaque, Timor Deer, and Sulawesi bear cuscus. The mangrove forest of the Park contains, among others Rhizophora and Sonneratiaspecies. This forest is also rich in species of crab, lobster, mollusc, and sea birds such as gulls, herons, sea doves, and storks

Itinerary:

Then go to “Manado Down Town” for City Tour: passing “China Town”, “Ban Hin Kiong Temple”, “TKB (Taman Kesatuan Bangsa)”, “Zero Point”, then “Government Area of North Sulawesi on Jl. 17 Agustus”. On Afternoon, go to Boulevard Area for “Culinary Tour” enjoying Fried Banana + Sauce of Roa Fish. Dinner will be served at Local Restaurant in Manado. Check-In Hotel & have rest.

DAY 02: BUNAKEN TOUR – SHOPPING (B,L,D)
After having breakfast at Hotel, the guest will be picked up to go to Marina Harbour. When arrive at Marina Harbour, use Speedboat / Glass Bottom boat to “Bunaken Island” takes ±45 minutes, and ±20 minutes time for Sightseeing the Beautiful Marine Park of Bunaken. After sightseeing tour, go to Bunaken land. Free Program for Snorkeling / Diving. We provide Boat for Free (Snorkeling Equipment + Guide Snorkeling: Optional) Lunch will be served at Local Restaurant. At afternoon, back to Manado. Then “Shopping Tour” at the Biggest Souvenir Center in North Sulawesi “Merciful Building”. Dinner will be served at Local Restaurant in Manado.

DAY 03: MINAHASA HIGHLAND TOUR (B,L,D)
After having breakfast at hotel, the guest will be picked up to “Minahasa Highland Tour” where you can enjoy the beautiful view of Manado City with an Altitude of 500 Meters at “Tinoor”, the Cold city “Tomohon”, “Bukit Doa”, “Pagoda Tower”, the Location of Traditional House making of Minahasa at “Woloan Village” and to “Tondano Lake”. But before, stop by at Ring Road Citra Land to see closer “The Amaze Tower” as the Biggest Jesus Blessing Statue in Asia. Entering Tondano city, we are welcomed with a view of rice fields in Boulevard of Tondano. As we see the biggest rice fields here, it’s because Tondano is one of the best rice producer in North Sulawesi.

To enjoy the beautiful view of the rice fields, the guest will use “Bendi” as the traditional public transport of North Sulawesi people, which at Java areas known as Wagon. After enjoy the fresh air in Tondano rice fields, Lunch will be served at Local Restaurant near Tondano Lake. After Lunch, visiting “Hill of Love” by passing the Location of manufacture original pottery in “Pulutan Village”, the shopping location of Crunchy Beans & Buns in Kawangkoan. Then go to “Linow Lake” to see the changing color lake depends on sunlight and the sulfur. Back to Manado then Dinner will be served at Local Restaurant in Manado. Back to Hotel & have rest.

DAY 04: TRANSFER OUT (B)
After having breakfast, free program until departure time. Transfer out and directly go to the Airport . End Of Tour
